Artist Bio

Maia J. Peters has painted for 25 years in pastel, oil and watercolor. She especially likes to do landscapes, dancers and Southwest themes. Her works are mainly representational. In addition to painting, Maia also sings, weaves and writes poetry.

She has had many teachers over the years: Betty Hook, Linda Lee, Nancy Kasten, Sharon Morgan, Sylvia Megerdichian, Joan Fink and others who frequented Morgan's Upland gallery.
