PVAA’s 8 Annual Exhibitions

PVAA’s 8 Annual Exhibitions

Gallery SOHO

317 West First Street

Claremont, CA 91711

Three times every year (April, August, December) PVAA refreshes its gallery installation. All 57 Exhibiting Artists bring in new pieces to hang in our gallery. This makes for an atmospheric shift in the gallery as our artists create a little bit of everything. Open most everyday from 11am-7pm and on Sundays from 11am - 3pm, we welcome visitors to come and enjoy our efforts. PVAA is a non profit 501(c)3 educational institute as well as a co-operative which means you will find an artist’s friendly face to greet you when you arrive.

Also three times a year, PVAA offers a “members only” juried show. This tradition is an extension of our art shows that, in our previous larger venue in Montclair, occurred monthly. Prizes are given and celebrated artists’ photos can be seen in our monthly newsletter, online, and on social media. You can also find details under the Tri-Annual Juried Show.

The Pomona Valley Art Association’s 43rd Open Juried Show has - for many years - invited artists in the Valley to join into this wonderful exhibit. Artists do not need to be a member to join. Our judges are exceptional artists in the field and we offer prizes: first prize is $100. Everything about this event will be displayed in our monthly newsletter, online, on social media. Help us spread the word! Pick up a brochure at Gallery SOHO soon, 317 West 1st Street, Claremont.

PVAA supports youth and art and we do so in several ways. One way is through this Young Artist’s Show. Once a year Junior High and High School students from the Valley are invited to enter this show for free. This exhibition offers a student a first hand experience in being a part of an art exhibition: how to prepare an artpiece for entry and the experience of a friendly competition with awards given at a public reception.
